Our Service

Introduction

We offer a wide range of original vintage gowns ranging in age from 30 to 80 years old. In your private appointment you can try on any dress you desire and peruse our library of books and style guides for ideas on which period dress would suit your personality and figure, and inspiration for your hair, make-up and accessories. We have at least 40 original vintage wedding dresses in stock at any one time.

Alterations

We offer an in house alterations service so we can alter our dresses to fit you perfectly, or gently bring your vintage dress in line with a more modern aesthetic by lowering necklines or shortening hems, removing sleeves or nipping in the waist. We can add hand-beading and embroidery, Swarovski crystals or vintage lace to help create your dream dress and achieve the perfect look for your wedding day!

Bespoke Service

Alongside our range of vintage dresses we offer a bespoke dressmaking service which means we can replicate any vintage dress made to measure in your size. Our couture creations can be entirely designed by you or by us, or they can simply be a direct copy of a dress you have fallen in love with. We can create a replica of any dress you desire, whether it is a dress from a 50s movie or a 30s magazine, a Keira Knightley "Atonement" dress or a Grace Kelly wedding gown.

Prices

The price range for our vintage dresses in generally between £150 and £650. Bespoke prices start at £800 plus the cost of fabric.

Sizes

Sizes of original vintage dresses are rarely above a modern size 16, but there are many ways to make dresses fit whether they are too big or too small. Alternatively, you can simply come and browse to gather ideas from which we can make you a bespoke dress.
